Maybe your answer is in this thread: url . There's a number of threads out there about both ECN's and MBTrading specifically. Take a look at those. For the most part, if a broker is offering mini's, I automatically exclude them from an ECN list ...

Bill13, We actually have had a discussion about EFXGroup. It appears that these guys are an introducing broker. As such, they do not have direct access to the interbank market, as a true ECN would have. Even direct access doesn't make one an ECN. ...

Folks, I'm just a lurker here. Sorry for the intrusion. It's a little disconcerting, though, to see so many dissenters branded as "haters." Dissenting views will tend to make this or any other system better. Either the dissenting view is defeated ...

Yes, but you would need to program it using MQL - MetaTrader's scripting language. You can also have it send out an email. I sometimes have alerts sent to a cell phone, which gets delivered as a text message.

I think it's $5000. Check the website - they probably have more accurate info than what I can tell you. Yep, that's about right. I was notified at the beginning of August. So, I guess we can say 4 weeks.
My MT4 broker experiences

They're not as good as I want them to be. They will always be variable because SpotFX is an ECN clearer. The EURUSD is usually 2 pips, the GBPUSD 3 pips and USDCAD 4 pips. I think the USDJPY is also usually 2 pips. When I used their old platform, I ...

They had a previous version on the website for their mini accounts. But, I think that went to the CFGTrader server, not the CoesFX one. If you didn't get it within the last couple of weeks, you may not have the right servers. Email me and I'll send ...

1. I had the same question. I was going to ask my account rep the other day, but I forgot. I had too many other questions. I know that FXDD treats hedges that way. 2. As far as I'm told, interest is paid and charged. 3. I'm not sure I understand the ...

I think that's a good question yaskevich. It pays to be a bit cynical on these boards. I was not a rep until about a week ago. I'm launching a website soon and will be an IB or referring agent for a number of brokers, including CoesFX. (MODS: I'm ...

Sorry, I've been away. I don't think there is a global scripting language. However, what I like about MT4 is that there are so many brokers that support it. So, you get kind of a pseudo-universality. If you don't like you're broker, there are plenty ...

Hey Volan, Attached is a screenshot of the live feed for SpotTrader. I think I mentioned in a number of posts and emails to folks that my experience with the demo has shown a lot of these spikes, but that the live feed has performed perfectly so ...

August 3 was the last announcement. He only moved the EUR by about 40 pips. But, what was interesting was it preceded the NFP, just like this month. The NFP in August went nuts and was probably being fueled by his comments the day before. At least, ...

Yep. The thing that jumped out at me with this are the spikes up that have occurred with the ADP data, but not the BLS data. It makes me think of the whole scenario we're in right now - EUR and GBP near highs, COTs report over extended a bit. There ...
