Pin Thanks for your input - some great setups occur on the weeklies but the stops sizes can be huge(pips). Not an easy thing to handle in the early days. Still as the seniors say get the large TFs down first before you move on to the lower stuff. ...

Hi guys Tring to approach this as J16 suggests and focus on weekly/daily just now while learning the PA way. Just thought i would ask this question while some of the thread gurus are on at same time : if you see a setup on weekly but the stop is a ...

Jarroo My ppz are pale blue lines with the arrows - def a bit of space for trade but size of previous bullish bars put me off compared with the size of the pin. Having said that I am still getting to grips with my ppz and hoping to learn a lot from ...

Hi jarroo Just wanted to ask about the US/CHF daily pin. On my feed there are a couple of large bullish bars just before the pin which made me a bit wary. Do these bars make this less than an A setup? kal

Taz For a newcomer to this thread I find your post very insightful. As you say it is all about piecing together a story and reading the market action. Its tempting to just look for pinbars etc but that is just one part of the puzzle. Keep up the ...

Hey Grahame The range is normally thought of as the Average over a period of time. A lot of traders use the ADR (av daily range) when planning their trades so that they can see how much 'room' there is to trade, eg if pair has ADR of 100pips and has ...

Nice charts and interesting to see the terms supply and demand on a chart - makes you think differently about it.

sorry also meant to say most traders want to shoot for big gains(pips) but what is wrong with more modest, consistent gains? On most forums here guys are shooting for hundreds of pips but the more modest approach is more amenable with consistency ...

Hi there I think one of the biggest problems for new traders is the get rich kwik mentality. They should concentrate on learning their craft with the goal of making slow and steady returns with some growth on their account. kal

Hi cool I am in the same boat as yourself rying to get a handle on PPZs. The best way to approach it in my opinion is to plot the most obvious ones first. Problem I am having is my ppz 'zones' especially on the weekly are very wide, eg over 100pts. ...
