no longs!! — See here, everything is too high to attempt a long. We'll just be patient and wait for a short. The H1 is near exhaustion and if the H4 continues to climb, our lower tf's have to come down to prop it up or linger where they are ...

I wouldn't go long at any point here. Everything is too high. It may very well go higher but the likelihood of getting burned in a long is extremely high. I picked up +9 on a short scalp

I'm not seeing that on mine. I'm wondering if my charts are inaccurate since I had to reinstall MT4 following my crash the other day.

My chart — my own comfort level would like to see a little more bend on the M15.

I don't have the M1 up and my M5 is not pointing down. It's just flat at the moment.

Does anyone else besides me smell a short??

I'm thinking the same thing. I'm tempted to go long right now for a quick scalp but I won't.

yes, I do and you seem to have a great handle on this method by the way.

agreed! It's too unpredictable for me this morning. I've even closed down my Oanda platform to make sure I'm not tempted to place a trade. I'm just gonna sit here and wait until I see some good rythmic trending going. I'm becoming increasingly picky ...

Ranging market — Market's ranging this morning seems like. I hate that! I guess this is an exercies in patience.

If I get a valid signal to go short, I will enter. Right now it seems like a rubberband trade but I'm waiting on the 5M to peak over 90%. If the 15m continues to follow, then I'll enter short for a few quick pips.

You wouldn't know that the 15M is starting to follow unless you are waiting until the candle closes to see where the stoch is, right? Remember, you must wait for candle closes to judge/know the position of the stochs.

What do you consider to be a loss? Is it when your SL is hit or is it when the stochs and price turn the opposite direction entirely?

Zen, Thanks but is there anyway we can get rid of the little waving end of the stoch and just show the last place of the stoch close, like th "No last bar stoch" indicator that's already been posted?

I hate not being able to trade on Saturdays :-) I can't wait to put this new indicator to use on Sunday night! Hope everyone's pumped up and ready to go get those pips!

Spud can you just expound a little more on what exactly is a "pivot" in this context? Is it a point where we look for a change of trend like in a Pivot point that we would normally use? I understand the concept of using M1 but the pivot thing is ...

Questions for Spud — Spud, I'm curious what your thoughts are on the following: ADX, RSI, Willams %, MACD I know that you use only stochs in trading and to be honest with you, I'm really amazed at how you've shown us that we can trade ...

I'm from Texas but travel the states and to Canada a lot on business. In fact, I was in Toronto and London, Ontario this week...starting to get cold up there already

I can see where using M1 will reduce the DD. The only thing I'm wrapping my head around now is entering a trade when M1/M5 are down but M15 is still up.
