the majority of HFT's are market makers they are using limit orders not technical analysis. I have a favorite trader from south korea who has a really high freq EU bot. But i have matched him to all the big name LP's and dark pools and all of them ...

because its generally more accurate, harder to offset.. The thing people need to realise is that someone is booking the trade somewhere at sometime. IT might bounce around 50 people first but eventually someone is taking the opposite side of the ...

the majority of LP's HATE EA flow and will requote/feed drop/ reject if they detect it. Its just an idea but I dont want to be dealing with "waaa i got slippage all the time" complaints and I dont want to fork out millions for prime toxic feeds for ...

I suspect with the challenge the "need to be in the market" psychology is there due to the time constraint. IMO that is a recipe for potential traders to lose out and do it quick. Thus fee income for FTMO. The 200k account thing makes me question a ...

the 200k thing kind of rubbed me the wrong way as well, it wasn't necessary because you could already do 2x 100k. But then i also saw a bunch of other prop firms do the same, and another saying 1:200 Leverage.. if you have 300k-500k and 1:200 you ...

Indices jump ticks. To expect stop orders to be executed perfectly on an index is ridiculous. The index markets are traded on limit, so if a limit is pulled you get next available price. Limits are pulled very regularly especially at places where a ...

I agree, more solid feed without the spazing out spread, ghost wicks, excess ticks from the spazing out spread would be great. I also think the challenge price needs to be reduced a little bit but not much. As for capital, 400k with 1:100 leverage ...

I will likely be moving on from FTMO. My results were up and down with them, some times my fault sometimes their fault but the feed is clearly an issue an the amount of denial around that is too much for me to focus my time with them. The extra ...

no they arent. The only way they are giving 1:500 is if they are booking it not filling elsewhere.. The cost of doing the trade for them is 225 x your deposit for 1:500 if you use the leverage. So no anyone with 1:500 on oil is a nono.

No real broker will offer that because oil margin is damn expensive at liquidity level.
