PipTrapper replied Dec 20, 2013Okay, I don't think anyone will be interested in reading what a slightly tipsy guy has to write, so I'm signing off now.

That's what the market makers want you to believe. My grandmother used to tell me "When you see everybody running in one direction, get out of there way, let them pass and then walk slowly in the other direction" She was a smart lady.Cable Update (GBPUSD)

PipTrapper replied Dec 20, 2013Under normal market conditions I would fully agree with you, but the fact remains that the market doesn't give a toss about the current account deficit right now. All they care about is what Carney and Bernanke said. Carney said that QE has ended. ...

PipTrapper replied Dec 20, 2013The headline is obviously misleading. It probably should have read "UK current account deficit balloons to highest in a 3 month period as a share of GDP since 1989" September's number was revised to -6.2 Bln

PipTrapper replied Dec 20, 2013Do you mean 1 minute or 1 month? If you mean 1 minute, forget it. By the way, I have personally never see an expanding triangle on wave 2 or 4. It is more of a B wave pattern. In very rare cases, a leading diagonal can be mistaken as an expanding ...

PipTrapper replied Dec 20, 2013No doubt the equity markets are long overdue a correction and we will probably see it in January, but then as long as the US economy still looks good, equities will continue upwards. I expect to see at least a 10% correction, but most time my ...

PipTrapper replied Dec 20, 2013A triangle is always a corrective formation. The only question is whether it is bullish or bearish. It doesn't matter if it is a contracting or expanding triangle, the rule is the same, and that is if the triangle is correcting a bullish trend, then ...

PipTrapper replied Dec 20, 2013I know about 10 people who do not believe in anything but themselves and their friends/family. To me they are still people and deserve all the same respect as everyone else... including me. Anyway, yes I am now on holidays until the new year. ...

PipTrapper replied Dec 19, 2013Yep. It's these kinds of markets where scalpers can pull in 100+ pips over a few hours. I'm not a scalper. In fact I hate scalping, but today I managed 60 pips in 5 trades. I feel dirty, but it's money so I'm not complaining.

PipTrapper replied Dec 19, 2013After another retest of high and maybe higher. I am still looking for 1.6500/50 area before a collapse, but yeah... we're close to a full steam reversal. Same with EUR/USD. 1.39/1.4x and then 1.14 or lower.

PipTrapper replied Dec 19, 2013Yes 3550 (or thereabout) is almost definitely in play, especially with that outside day reversal candle we saw yesterday. However, I still expect a pullback to 3720 area first. E/U Daily image
