Hi I saw the same thing happening to me and went back to the old charts for a few hours and saw that after a H1 TDI cross I can take a first position (half of my normal entry) when the price breaks through and a second position (the other half) when ...

Hi It took me 3000 hours (about 1000 trying as a on-and-off hobby, another 1000 more intense but still part time and 1000 full-time) to get to a level where I am consistently profitable ... but I am not able to make enough to live off it yet... that ...

I think our objective is the same. I also found the H1 entries to be the best suited for me and then I only periodically check the M5 to optimize my trade - sort of like "at a glance" now and then and when I see a range or channel forming, I look ...

Hi Pervis I took the same trade and here is how it worked out for me with the H1 entry and M5 management. The only trick is not to stay on the M5 the whole time, it will drive you nuts
I keep it on H1 and only periodically check the M5 ...Trading Made Simple

Hi It is a 55ema. I only use PA and TDI to make entry and exit decisions. The MA's are just to give some structure to the waves series. It only gives me an indication that the wave pattern has been broken and I need to act if I have not yet done so ...

I use the same basic style as rnsfrd (signal on HTF and entry on LTF) and I love the M5 charts when trading H1 signals. See the below chart = the M5 makes a first wave (at least 5-7 candles in the same direction) which is the H1 breakout candle. The ...

My opinion is that the support just had to be breached by a good candle BEFORE the trade can be taken. Sure ... there is more risk because it is then the 3rd candle but still the PA (fake candle) supports the fact that there is enough momentum for a ...

Thank you for discussing my trade - I take profit in stages (mainly when the 5min chart starts to range) so I took profit at 25 pips and then 68 pips and let the rest run until the 5ema was hit at 50 pips. I leave the last part of my trade open in ...

Thanks for the comment - my reasoning is that I have take my main profit off the table and do not want to be taken out with a spike - normally the market will flatten as the momentum becomes less and then the 5ema catches up with the candles and ...

GU also looking good on the H1 - I like the fact that it is bouncing off the daily resistance in the channel. Took part profit and letting the rest run at break-even till the 5ema is touched .

Read Mark Douglas’s book Trading in the Zone - he analyzes what goes through a trader's mind and how to deal with all those issues. It is a must read to deal with any mind issues. Just my opinion though .... :nerd:
