i don't have MT4 so will it do if i identify the angle visually ? also how do i determine the angle as the angle changes when i resize, zoom in/out or stretch the chart ? sorry for this question but hopefully someone kind enough to help ?

yup, that's why i stick with them. no point making loads of money and then the broker go bust or run with the money. too bad they've got no trailing stop though........so sophiscated traders won't like them at all.

better open a/c in Canadian dollars, at least the value is stable or going up. USD a/c may eat into any profits as it devalues.......

while i agree i should trade triangle or other continuation patterns with the trend to be safe, i just can't resist doing it against the trend and hope for a measly 10 pips........ i keep missing breakouts when i come home !!! i missed the eur/usd ...

hey, i'm looking at this too ! i think likely to break upwards ? very frustrating for me today as i came home too late and missed breakout for eur/usd and usd/chf..........this kind of thing happening for me quite often lately.
