Theres no reason to be in the market where it could affect you, at roll over time. If you are trading long term a short term spread change wont hurt, if you are trading short term theres no reason to be in or open a position any where near roll ...

I mean, how can you prove its a wrong quote from a fxcm/forex.com chart? What if the chart is a demo chart and on their live they spiked the quote as well? I don't particularly like FTMO much but you haven't really proven anything.

Not really. If you just calculate your risk properly then "chances of success" remain the same. Its weird when people think that a 5% or 10% change in equity per day is healthy..... its a tell tale sign of way too much risk.

i think you are missing the margin factor in the equation. 20%of 10k is more than 20%of 1k... margin calls etc are a big factor in size too. You'd need 1:500 and 0% stop out to match it also the scaling happens even after you withdraw profits.. so ...

I believe the weekly payout overall fixes the problems itself. My idea of the MFF model is that by paying weekly, more profit splits occur and their overall risk is 0->minimal. So i think its profitable. I don't know what their execution model is, ...

If risk = drawdown then you start with 0 risk as the firm. There is definitely a way to make it work sending trades to the market but definitely not a way if you are giving more drawdown than the fee to enter.
