For Gain, use for historical backfill - Ninja Trader servers, on the uid/pw leave blank and put demo in the Mode. You do not need a demo acct open with Gain.

The Market Watch window shows the open time (at least on BroCo it does). Otherwise, go to each exchange and look it up - NYMEX for Oil, CME for Indexes, CBOT (now CME also) for grains, etc.
