5 min charts are way too bumpy if you ask me. Use 4H or higher, it is all you need.

That would be due to the Sunday candle as pointed out in your statement. I would not worry too much, just go with what you have. If you work on the higher charts it really does not make that a big difference.

That is me also, always curious. The one thing I can see just from a glance is that IBFX has a Sunday candle. Just from that the Ichi will look slightly different. Just look at the Kijun.
