AU H4 method — Don't want you to think I have a negative attitude just because I posted a few loss trades recently. Here is a winner: AU based on H4 method. Entry: - cross back into blue band - TDI cross - bounce from SHI channel - very nice ...

I did not trade pullback candles. I traded the break out according to the S3 method (page 3 of pdf). Yes, I know. But when you trade a break out, how can you know in advance that the candle will be rejected? thanks, gary

difficulties with break out — I made 3 losses this week by entering a break out (confirmed by TDI), which turned out to be a pullback. Actually, I stupidly managed to buy the high and sell the low! Now I stopped trading at all to prevent ...

Would you please share your charts? Per TMS rules you went short. I think per S3 H4 rules this would rather have been longs (break of lower blue band + uptrend). thx, gary

What you are referring to is the break out signal. But a break out first requires a consolidation (look at the triple bottom on the chart in the pdf). Today there was just a continous move. Not even a fractal break. A simple higher high is not a ...

I still have problems entering a move like today without any pullback candle and without TDI cross. According to my trading plan I do not enter before LO. But how do you guys join such a move without chasing the trade? gary

yes Why did you exit at BE? My TP 35 was just hit. As long as the TDI does not hook back and there is enough room to the EMA200 (or other major support), there is no need to exit. gary

So then why don't you stop pulling to BE? Inspired by Phx62 I also experimented with BE and 5pips-below-candle-TS. I even made a trade management EA for that. But then I realized that I not only cut my losses but also my wins. This is a high ...

Don't know, if they are allowed, but they did. My SL was -30, got out with -50. Maybe I should trade without SL like Big E. I would still be in that trade, and with this huge pullback it will probably go south now ....
