Pics and charts — GU - 11 in a row. Or would have been if I was awake at 4.30! And 20 more on UCHF. Did get this one on a buy stop.

Thanks FH, actually I do use 0 closed bars on most pairs. I was lucky enough to discover this thread when it was only 10 or 11 pages long. Although I haven't posted much (spend most of my time over at Steve Hopwood's place) I keep dropping in and I ...

GU — Probably not the wisest of trades. R:R was lousy and entry was a long way from the CZ. Eventually it paid off and became the 10th consecutive win on GU.

Personally, I try to avoid trading through NFP. Some brokers widen spreads to 20 pips or more around the news. That's usually not a problem if you're trading off daily charts but at these shorter timeframes your SL can easily get taken out on a ...

The indicator is behaving correctly. If you change the parameters, you will change the opening and closing of trades. This in turn will alter the timing of when boxes are formed.

21 winners and 9 losers across the pairs I trade. That's a 70% hit rate (which is very close to the indi's lookback average for individual trades) making this a pretty typical week on that basis. I didn't manage to trade them all because of sleep, ...

That 50 pip spike cleared my stops on Pepperstone Edge live account and Alpari UK demo. No spike at all on Vantage fx UK live account. Anyone out there on Oanda fxTrade or Dukascopy jtrade? This looks too fishy, we can't let it go without a ...

Did anyone else get this at 1848 GMT? Stopped out by 50 pip spike lasting about 1 second on Pepperstone and IBfx. Very suspicious. I'm trying to establish whether this is bad data feed - if so I'll be claiming a refund.

Thanks for the quick response Jonas. However, when I referred to lower TFs I was actually meaning H4 and H1, nothing lower. For example, on H4, it can easily take several bars ( +/- a whole day) before divergence is confirmed, during which time ...

For myself, having followed this thread from the start, I wouldn't use stop orders at all. I need to see a significant candle close outside the CZ. There are EA's which do this.
