Hi bstay2, Mt4 has the most indicators, has the largest community of users. There's a definite advantage to using mt4. I have a suspicion that metaquotes original business model was to cater to "bucketshops", to get on board the rapidly ascending ...

One more thought: I stay with GFT because of tight execution, it's many times faster than IBFX in my trading. Dealbook/GFT works for me.

I believe dealbook problems have something to do with your internet connection. I run dealbook on a dedicated web server, it's on all year. It's dropped connections or froze a few times, once last spring, perhaps a few times in the 2 years I've been ...

GFT removed their CTL forum Dec 1st without warning. It was the only CTL resource on the web, besides a smattering of information here and there. I hope I don't get into trouble with forexfactory by mentioning, but a few of us programmers created a ...

How did you enter the EU at 1.3680 when the market opened at 1.3716? 1.3680 appears to be a good entry, did you actually enter around 1.3716?

Yeah I meant, I didn't know where to find Toothman's comment, his suggestions for NB may be similar to Boris' BB ideas. Just pointing it out. Boris's EA alone(I wrote a version a few years ago) works about as well as any, around 60%, if you keep it ...

Yeah well, I'm honing NB's method to suit my goals.
My point is, unless the AUD goes up for 10 more years, and interest rates remain the same, the swaps should cancel out. Unless there is something special going on at fxsol.Nanningbob 4h trading system ver. 5.0

I'm getting paranoid about 10:1, wondering if we will look back at this time as the "golden era" of trading. Scoobs, why on earth would the US want to limit retail forex? The UK is quite liberal on forex, cfds, spread betting. Why?

Eh? Swaps are just the difference in interest on the total value you borrow/lend when positions roll over. My question is, why don't you have positive swaps as well. I do, especially high on AUD.

Forgive the stupid question... here it is: My broker either credits me, or deducts from my equity if I'm open past 5pm Chicago time. It depends on whether or not I'm long/short aud/jpy for example. I could get a credit for 4% or deducted 4%. I ...
