Weidmann says governments overestimate ECB possibilities
- RichardHK commented Aug 1, 2012
Draghi's first three words last week when he was telling us they would do whatever was needed were something like "Within our remit...". Seems the news algos did not understand/translate this phrase and most humans conveniently ignored them. ...
Weidmann says governments overestimate ECB possibilities

Really good headline. Says it all very well. Given the psychotic (human) behavior programmed into these news bots and other algos these days it sure pays to be an active trader rather than an investor. Be careful with those funds and other ...
Stocks Rally, Driven By…By…Um, Er…
- RichardHK commented Jul 27, 2012
Not so quick guys. The volatility caused by HFT algos is increasingly causing flash crash type whipsaws on many common stocks now. Not safe to leave stop losses in when boneheaded algos drop price momentarily due to software driven over-reaction. ...

TraderUSA is right. Just lies like the fearful BS last August designed to drive gold prices up and into the selling hands of the Wall Street predators. Take care all. Don't fall for it.

Don't forget that much of the selling (corrections) is profit-taking by the bulls! Then after a drop they scale back in with the buys. PS. And the bulls are mostly institutional computer programs of course.

A very good article. Needs much wider circulation and exposure. Most folk are being normal human beings and simply denying there is a problem. The drop in savings and increased credit recently likely shows things are not 'normal' at all, and not ...

I find the EURUSD follows the S&P futures Ok for first part of the day and then it uncouples and does its own thing. Would be interesting to know why this is happening. Maybe the HFT firms are playing games? Did/does the EURUSD follow anything ...

The EURO was below parity until mid 2002. Didn't stop Europe developing. Will be uncomfortable to get there again but life will go on. And a strong US dollar will not do the US much good remember.
