As far as I know, you can copy/paste any open source code you like for personal use. You won't have any distribution rights to that code unless specifically granted by the author of the code. Hendrick is the copyright owner in this case.

maximumrisk is a number used to calculate lotsize if money management is turned on. The newest version 5.6.6 is available on forex-tsd.com/phoenix/ We also have new settings for a few pairs.

You would need to create settings to optimize against CFD and Gold, or DJIA, etc. The process to create those settings is in the documentation at forex-tsd.com/phoenix/

Try decreasing your maximum chart size. What is your current value? Keeping maximum history size large isn't an issue for memory I think, but I am not certain.
