Reading the news about war kinda confuse me, when the news is about USA reaction to RUSSIA, gold suddenly drop, but when the news is about Russia to Ukrain, Gold shoots up.

I'll be a bit carefuly to go long, looking at the 2 previous week, the bar engulfed almost 3 previous bar, and last week still down. This week bar looks pretty weak to me. But it's just my opinion.

I agree with you mave, looking at other usd pairs, the weakness of USD doesn't make significant impact, perhaps USD is stronger than we think and might make a come back.

The NFP data is bad for USD, but watching other USD pairs, I notice the weakness of USD doesn't make significant impact. IMO, USD is actually stronger than people think, I would still look for shorting gold, but I'll be very careful with it. ...
