If that is the case, all the better for you
I would be sure though - I'm fairly certain you have no special protection in case of bankruptcy or insolvency by the company, so I would check with them and get it in writing as someone else suggested. ...FXLQ Shut down temporarily by NFA

From what I've read, most forex companies in the UK (if not all) include a section in their app about the Segregation claims, saying that the company will hold the money as a trustee, but money held on your behalf is not subject to the protections ...

From what I understand, the segregation restrictions put in place by the FSA don't really apply to forex accounts. I think some older threads on these boards covered that, talking about how it was misleading for a UK forex company to tell you they ...

FXCM's NDD has been attacked online several times because they do have a dealing desk. They also apparently deal with DB to fill orders, which suppossedly *does* have a dealing desk, so in essence, it's all the same thing. In reading about it ...

"The more padding they have, the more your forex accounts are protected." Well, this part isn't really true. No forex account is "protected" in the US AFAIK. The NFA seems to frown on people implying such. I'm not sure why 20-30 mill is a magic ...

To be fair to forexsavior, he has made the point that this is mostly about capitalization for the purposes of this message board, hence the title. That doesn't mean there aren't areas where the "big boys" are fraudulent, its just not been his focus, ...

Sooo..... you don't think there's room for a new company to come into this field... they're only going to allow "firms with a long history" to come into this. If that were true (which I highly doubt), it would be disgusting. Surely, there's room for ...

Why would these 5 be the only ones left? I see several on the capitalization list closing in on Gain at least in terms of cap, and that's just what they're showing on the books. Why wouldn't others be able to "stay in the game"?
