Pepperstone it's not market maker! You have 0,1-0,2 pip spread on eurusd and commission 7 AUD or USD depending on account currency (6,1 with rebate). No spread betting for sure.

Probably it was common MT4 error and restart of platform would fix the problem. Moreover, positions were in loss, so actually they should be happy that you are closing trades if they wanted to steal your money.
