I wouldn't have taken this trade because your point A and B are too close together and are "related" (part of same move upwards).

Not good, but looking at the charts, I don't see my TP taking for another 24-36 hours. Based on Mouteki rules, I wouldn't have taken the trade. The demand line was too flat

Your nuts! Look at D1, the trend is obviously up. I'm long based on my own rules.

How about none of them? It is impossible for an EA to work effectively in all market conditions. Impossible! There is no EA money making machine. An EA is a good way to knock out your balance. But I guess no matter how many times you tell a newbie, ...
How to choose an EA?
- ra300z replied Oct 13, 2006
Didn't look promising to me. Results were poor to OK, depending on the pair. The supply demand lines could be drawn using (i think) 200 candles which isn't how Mouteki does things. I ended up writing my own Mouteki EA. I followed all of the early ...

Yes. I don't know if I would have avoided it, but that trend line looks steep. It might just be the image since it looks squeezed.

I think this thread should be moved. By altering Mouteki, it is no longer pure Mouteki. Also, the only thing these filters will filter out is more good trades than bad trades. The only suitable filter is your own discretion and gut feeling. Maybe ...

I just had a miserable week on my Demo account. I was up $200 at one point (starting balance=$1090), but the last 24 hours chewed up my account, ending at $960. This week didn't jive too well with Mouteki. There were large and very quick movements ...
Is Mouteki really profitable??

Thanks. And actually this wasn't very good example because the PP didn't actually get gigantic. But I think the example demonstrates one situation that could come up using Mouteki.

How to handle "The Hook" — How would you handle this situation? One low point is found at Sept 27 08:00. At Sept 29, 08:00, a demand line can be drawn a fair distance. Great, PP is reach easily since highest high is close by (small ...

I wouldn't touch stoch to save my life. The first one has a bullish candle, so I wouldn't have touched it. As for the second one, well, you can't win them all! Mouteki isn't foolproof nor should anyone expect it to be.

I also like to see a bullish/bearish candlestick, depending on supply/demand. In this case, I'd like to see a candlestick that opened higher relative to its close (filled) I suppose a tell tale sign of whether a signal is a strong one: lower low in ...
