Well... not much change in stance from the SNB. They will continue to reign in excessive strength on the franc. Fundamentally, it's obvious that this pair is going to continue down. The Swiss economy is healthier than the EZ, and things in the EZ ...

Would you care to elaborate on your thought? You must be shorting this pair. Where did you enter? 4900 area? 4800 area?

i will also mention that one should be careful scalping shorts when the intervention appears to be over. SNB has done quite a few small injections over the past month. This could be a way for them to set up the sellers, conditioning them to think ...

but we definitely know where the line in the sand is for the time being after seeing another intervention here.

Don't get hopes up... all they will do is keep injecting small shots up like now, nothing more, not with the euro being so negative at this time

e/chf sitting at the 6427-30 area as I write. Anybody looking to scalp a long here be careful. It's late in the trading day on Friday and SNB may have already closed shop. This could sink down to some newer levels (closer to 4600).

darnit... I missed this one... i was on the road tonight and just got home. i saw from my iPhone that the price was hovering around 4625-30. Was thinking when I get home I would buy at 4630, and sure enough I missed another bite

SNB's Jordan said on Sunday that there was no specific level of CHF strength they were defending against, just excess strength, and that CHF strength would not stop Swiss economic growth from resuming. He said a strong CHF means rate adjustments ...

Here's a recent article on Bloomberg: url Seeing how eur/chf hung around 4640 for most of Friday (the level that SNB intervened at the past couple of weeks), it will be interesting to see if SNB will come out swinging this week.

It's always good to see other's opinions about this crazy market. I myself am still holding a position above 1.50, but slowly chipping away at my drawdown as I make profit on other trades (never let assumption over-rule your trading rules... ...

I did at 4650. I hit the trigger when it was on 4648, but quickly jumped to 50. I have a tight SL just in case SNB doesn't jump in anytime soon.

Not sure if we'll see "the big one". I have a hunch SNB will just keep doing small shots like they have been until their economy is out of the woods. Although, as I said before, their trade balance report last night showed exports have declined, and ...

lol... good for you. Price keeps missing my buy limits. I had a buy limit at 4640 up until last Friday when they intervened twice and I missed by one pip the first time. So since last Friday I placed a buy at 4645, and again it just missed by a ...

My thinking is there is too much selling pressure on the Euro itself b/c of the challenges their facing right now. I wonder if SNB feels that doing small shots for now is better than a huge one. It could very well be that a huge push up would only ...

My hunch is SNB is only doing small shots for now too keep price above 1.4635-40. B/C of weakness and huge selling of the Euro, SNB must figure that doing a huge injection now wouldn't be fruitful for them. the 2 shots they did earlier was just to ...

i doubt it will get to there as SNB has made their point twice this AM. Would be nice if price did get there again, as that would look like the optimum entry
