By drawing your trendlines. You don't have to get mixed up in which line is demand line and which is supply. Just know what is likely to happen when price go above or below one of the two trendlines.

The longer trend had always been up. Why would you try to short it? I never short Usd/Jpy because I hate paying for swap. It's much safer to buy Usd/Jpy on every dip and earn interest while you wait for your -100 pips to come back up to 0.

Cad/Usd did go up as expected. There were more good news for Cad than Usd so Cad won today. As for the Dow .. who knows. But I do notice that often when there's a gain for Usd, the Dow go down. Record low dollar ... record high Dow. Weird...
