In my opinion the only barrier is the 1.68680 resistance. If it breaks we will see the pair at 1.69067 for sure.

What do you mean? Besides the indicators, the news are great for GBP and according to Bernanke not so good for USD. Furthermore, candlesticks on almost every chart are bullish for GBP. Combine all that and there you have the decision for buying.
