I wouldn't even dream of shorting any yen cross with such a strong and bullish momentum skewing up the market right now. But I also don't want to enter at the wrong level on any longs.

Thats quite a jump and I do wonder if it will make its way down to the new support by London open.

That is one huge spike. Wondering if Tokyo open will keep momentum to the upside. I am a bit surprised actually and will be even more so if we have dips from here.

Looks a solid setup and a good entry makes it possible for lots of good pips. Would like to know though if you were looking to buy more on breaks of those resistance levels.

I take the stance is to bid on dips? What do you reckon the crosses are going even if risk aversion kicks in? I think there might be profit taking but it will take a lot to change this strong trend.

Could the drastic downswing over the weekend be just a strong pullback on profit taking or could there be bearish undertones in the move? Surely no reversal at this juncture.

Good spot there but I would add also that until the MA has crossed over, the trend is still intact. BOJ disappointment would definitely expose good down move towards 134.

I think its more of profit taking before the risk event on Thursday. There doesnt seem to be any other place for CADJPY so I will ask here. Does the following seem valid?

Thanks for the clarification. Really insightful as I hadn't looked into it in that sense. Another question if you could possibly answer - supposing that BOJ do easing on the scale of the feds, and the US economic situation does improve - is this a ...

What I meant was that it seems very odd that this move would have happened considering the fundemental factors behind it. From a technical view, the move was already made when I saw the inverse hs on the gbpjpy pair. Anyway what I am more interested ...

Is there any substantiated reason other than pure manipulation, as to why with all this poor data coming out of EZ, market is pretty much still in a RISK on mode? The rhetoric out of Japan has been the same for a long while now - why then should a ...

For those keen on the GBP pairs, potential inverse HS formed on GPJPY. It might be a good setup for some bullish move this week. 125.95 is around the 61 fib level on the up move today image

On eujpy we tested 61 fib level and closed above 38 - I still held onto my small longs and would like to see a further move up. What I would like to ask is, if this bullish sentiment picks up, when does it truly become a reversal? For me, on the ...

You mean the longs? Day isn't finished yet, besides it could be good entry to the downside depending on where it finishes. Midweek price seems to behave like this a lot. Better keeping options open on both sides to make a good entry on your setup.

Yes I was looking into that too, 102.x is the 61 level from the down trend started earlier this month. So will be keeping an eye on that too. But on the weekly front if we start heading north then I think the bear is over.

As per my last chart, it would appear price bounced off once again from the 38 level at 100.5 - was a bit shaky to take longs but I ventured small longs. However, a possible good long could be taken if daily finishes above the 200ma resistence which ...

Didn't jump in on the continuation of the downtrend from 101.3 (had been stopped out previously). Nevertheless looking to reenter shorts on EurJpy if daily closes below 38.2 level. Considering this would confirm a definite close and bear move below ...
