As it has been mentioned by "Artcool" in the linked thread, this is equivalent to buying an option. Nothing looking like a scam or anything there. To call it "CANCEL" a trade is a bit misleading, but except that, nothing really special.
Can you really cancel a losing trade? Anybody tried this?

Yes and no. There are CFDs on stocks offered by some brokers. It is true that's not the real stocks but CFDs on them.

That seems all good ... as long as you can withdraw. There's also LMAX, Dukascopy, IB and probably a few others.
Is Darwinex still a trustable broker?
- Mevo replied May 31, 2018
Honest question: If tomorrow you have a big amount you want to trade with, would you deposit it to Darwinex, because you still trust them ? (meaning you're confident you will be able to withdraw without any problem ?).

Ok, which makes Darwinex's excuses even more suspicious, then.

I do agree with you on that. You are raising good points. As long as you're just describing accurately what really happened, I don't see any problem. In the end, you may be helping traders who are trusting them when maybe they should be wary. It's ...

Londonboy, would you maybe come down a little, please ? He didn't accuse them of anything. He described what happened to him and asked a question (all this will be good for others doing their research...) We all agree that it's nice he got his money ...

Londonboy, this thread is about ONE specific broker, and it was all about a withdrawal ... Your rant is sad.

Londonboy, I don't know why you defend that broker so much (not an accusation), but to me, you seem delusional at best on that matter. I guess we've each said what we had to and can now move on (I least, I will try).

Is Darwinex regulated by any Chinese regulator ??? If not, what matters is Darwinew jurisdiction, and there is nothing special about Chinese customers there.

You guys are incredible ! You are totally missing the point here: The broker doesn't report to the Chinese government, nor has it anything more to do because the customer is Chinese. It is a BS excuse. And you are just doubling down (and defending ...

I understand the thinking, but they aren't really lending you anything (except from an interest rate point of view). They keep the financial instrument you acquire (or sell short). So they are always covered. On top of that, they have your money, ...
Any broker without annoying ident procedure?

I wouldn't go with a broker using such cheap advertising methods And their "about us" section states "We do not believe in misleading our clients": Maybe they didn't tell you, SandroFlora ? Because there is nothing "UK based" NOR "Licensed" with ...

That circles back to the beginning of the discussion. If the funds of the customers are STILL THERE, yes, customers should get their money back. Your question appears to be a quite simple one, but the whole matter may be kind of complicated. First, ...

There are several models a broker can run on. Some brokers pass-through all trades to LPs. LPs often like that, and the broker may have a better deal by engaging itself to pass ALL trades. Or a broker can internalize, and it can do it more or less. ...

Reddevil, I am perfectly aware of how a trust works. In the case of a forex broker, it will request funds from the trust account when there are losses. If one day, there is a big movement in a pair, and the broker transmits some bogus information of ...
Broker handling client money?

I don't disagree with you Reddevil. But the problem is always that when things go well, there is no problem. Once SHTF, it usually escalates quickly. The day a shortfall is detected, it's pretty much too late. Even if everything was fine one week ...

This is recurring topic, isn't it ? In Forex trading, the problem seems to be that people blow their account one day or another. So it all depends on the time frame: in the short term, you have around 50% / 50% of winners / loosers. A little less ...
