I look forward to it
I will put up some posts later on today on how I look for trades in the first place, that may help some to see what I'm seeing. I don't look any higher than daily either, of course at the end of the week I look to see how the ...TMS for Newbies Part 2

And you don't think the original thread is confusing?? They start reading the thread where its supposed to be simple - not easy but simple, and learning to trust what the tdi is telling them. Then they get towards the end where its not ok to trust ...

Exactly as mary4x says, this is not a thread for newbie traders, its a thread for newbies to TMS, an entirely different thing. But if someone doesn't know what those things you mention, are, then we will do our best to help them anyway as well as ...

Snarlyjack wasn't put into the commercial section because of the trades he posts, as far as I can tell he was put in there because he kept promoting a commercial system.

Its not possible to just be using someone else's account unless you know either the password or you have reset the password using the same email address that was on file when you left, forums are usually pretty secure places.

Sorry Tekkies two different things, high leverage allows you to have a larger position in the market for a relatively small amount of your own money. What they are talking about is Risk:Reward (R:R) which means you open a trade with for instance a ...

The line chart shows the close price and as the tdi is set to the close thats why you can see divergence better with it. That is also why I have the stoch on my charts (set to the high/low) so I can see divergence against the wicks.

More of a hint that it could turn than a reversal, we really would need to see the next candle as a bullish candle to be classed as an actual reversal signal. However, when I'm watching the timeframe lower and then see a good signal on that ...

No, but if you were trading purely on H4 the last closed candle was bullish, you can't take a trade based on the open candle because that can change in a heartbeat - as it did.

Although green had crossed red on h4 it was quite a few candles before your trade on H1, look at the last closed candle on h4 before you took your trade, it was a bullish candle, and as TheScorpS says, the tdi hadn't crossed on h1.

Exactly, its the average R:R over x amount of trades that matters not each individual trade in my opinion. We have to learn to take what the market is willing to give or not give. As long as we have an edge we will come out on top in the end.

If taking an h4 trade I don't go against D1 and thats still looking very bearish. Your H4 tdi is also way below the 32 mark which also shows very bearish so its not one that I would take on H4.
