no - i never fixed it. still the same problem - tried with alpari and FXDD on different machines with different CPU strengths. Still crashes. Oh well - just my luck :-(

out of interest, is there any guidance or ideas on lot sizes/account balance ratios? on a $100K account, surely 3 mini lots could also suffice? on about 10 pairs? I am talking demo here, by the way (before you think I am about to blow 100K on TB!!!)

anyone getting a critical crash error with their MT4 crashing and then closing down????? I'm getting this with all of max's bots. I have tried with different brokers too. Any ideas?

Cool Steve - Also looking forward to the weekend as said you'll discuss your MPTM settings. I've been demoing the EA this week.. results are pretty cool. May carry on demoing for another 3/4 weeks to see how it pans out.

would i be right in assuming that back test results should be ignored as MPTM has not been taken into consideration?

I dont think MPTM is considered in back testing. So i think with these EAs, forward testing is the way forward.
