Yeah, I don't trust the CFG guys. I have a friend trading an account size like yours and he experienced similar stuff. It's one of the issues I brought up with CoesFX when I signed up with them. Gilbert is the guy that got the relationship going ...

Loki, That's the very purpose of any EA. But, everyone has their own "babysitter" criteria. So, it's doubtful that someone will have the same criteria you have and would have made an EA for it. The best thing to do is to learn how to work with MQL4 ...

OK. I guess I'm pretty ignorant with this stuff. But, I just did an NFA/CFTC check on FXQL. Their head guy - Robert Gray - seems to have been associated with some pretty shady operations in the past. He was with a MultiVest Options company that had ...

mclinvestments, Welcome to ForexFactory! I actually agree with you here about the CFG guys. I don't think I could trust them as far as I could throw them (see my thread called "Stop Hunting".) On the other hand, there seems to be a bit of an ...

Hi Learningboy, Could you provide some evidence of what you experienced? Perhaps some screenshots or MT4 logs showing the kind of delays you experienced. Honestly, I think there are a couple of issues at play. First, you're comparing 2 different ...

BK, I tried to go this route with them as well. The commission charge, if I remember, equates to about $10 per lot, RT. For a mini, it's $3 per mini lot. The difference eliminates the possibility of using a mini lot and getting the higher leverage ...

I don't think Scott's talking exclusively about the CoesFX level 2 orders. He might also be referring to the option defense news coming from Thomson Financial. I'll follow Scott's cue and say that's all I know

I'm a bit of a DIY person. I could benefit from a good trading accountant, but, I did things on my own last year and read up on a bunch of stuff. The only advice I'll give is to learn how to keep track of every trade you make. I found, as I reported ...

I personally use stops, but, I also think this is a fairly fruitless conversation only because what works for some works for others. I know a couple of traders that do not use stop losses and do quite well. It all boils down to the system you have ...
