Hi mate! You gathered quite a following since I last dropped in. But your trading certainly deserves being followed! Wonder why nobody questioned you on the highly interesting remark quoted. Let's assume I know most of the mumbo jumbo but am still ...

Hi Ken! Great job you are doing here! - Got a question: how do you distinguish between a 35/50-crossover and a 35/50-reversal. The criteria mentioned in the pdf's are quite vague. Thank you.

I like that!
I guess on the 4h it was the shooting star. Difficult to guess where the correpsonding candles are on the 15m as you took away the tiome line. Guess it was at the 35/50 cross-over. Btw: how do you distinguish between a ...Trade what you see NOT what you expect

Oh man, let's not talk about it! For I don't know how long I've been staring at this goddamn flag and when it breaks I'm hyper-busy doing all kind of other things. Not trading for a living (yet!). But how can I ever if other nonsense keeps me away ...

Just like to use Ken's post as oppurtunity to point out something that can immensely confuse all of us here. Attached pls find my 4h chart. No inverted hammer recently, right. Now this chart is set to CET with the 1st bar beginning at midnite (light ...

Great post, Pippi. Any chance you guys could talk and work this out? The rift between the 2 threads is not very practical. And, I believe, everybody would benefit if the 2 threads could be re-united.

Absolutely agree with you. I think hindsight analysis has its merits. You get an idea of what to look for and its more in-dpeth. But then transferrring that to a real time situation is quite difficult. You got to see and react quickly and the ...

But would you comment on these posts? Even if they came immediately before or after the trade. Or would you feel responsible for what ppl are doing then? Asking because I'm posting in order to get comments. And I like posting while things are ...

Is it so important to see from which tf a sr derives? I appears to me to depend on whether you are zooming in or out. A bottom on the 4h must be on the 1h. However a bottom on the 15m may sort of dissolve within the 4h. That's why I always take them ...
Trade what you see NOT what you expect
- AnonYmos replied Jan 18, 2010
yep. good idea. but i'm one of the 30 or so % males color blind and all the different ma's already drive me bananas. if i use different colors for sr's in addition i certainly go - what's the escalation of "bananas"?

Hi Ken! Hope you're at least peeping into the trade-what-you-see thread now and then. They really miss you there. Also worth noting EO's post on the matter #2939) Fully aware that this is none of my business but imho it's awkward we now have 2 ...

That's actually how I always do it. Take them from the weekly down to the daily, down to the 4h etc. Only problem being that sometimes on the lower tf's it's a bit difficult to make out where actually the sr comes from. Gotta loop back thru higher ...
