Yes, they do offer mini accounts. However, the reasons I like CoesFX might not be relevant for your trading style. I trade a 15 min breakout strategy, so, slips and spreads are important. If you're a longer term trader, I think you have more ...

Hi Trigger, If you're using an .mq4 file, then, it needs to be compiled first. I think there are some posts, even in the Firebird thread, that describe how to use EA's in MetaTrader. Do a search and you should find the info you're looking for. ...

That's probably true about ibfx. However, I think mwfromva is fairly new and was looking for someone offering micro accounts. And heck, if you can trade successfully with ibfx, you'll be able to trade successfully with anyone. At least, that's my ...

It's not a stupid question. I asked for this feature from MetaQuotes about 6 months ago. I think it would be a great feature to have, but, I don't think they will be implementing it anytime soon. In the mean time, I created my own take profit expert ...

You can suppress the popup alerts in MT4. There's a setting in Tools | Options | Experts that you check to confirm live trading. Uncheck it and trades will execute without notification. It's quite nice. I tell you what I would REALLY want to see on ...

I've been using MT4 at VPSland for the last few weeks. I even ran multiple instances of MT4 to test out Firebird. Everything worked great. There were a couple times where my server rebooted - I'm not sure why. But, I've placed MT4 in my startup ...

I thought I'd join in on the discussion. Attached is what I thought was an absolutely beautiful chart of GBPUSD with very clear signals. Prior to the PPI numbers this morning, the price was contained within a triangle. There was, what looks like, a ...

Also, would you also consider using the MetaTrader API? That would open you up to a whole bunch of other brokers as well. Also, HotSpotFX has a whitelabel program supported by an API. On the whole, I think you have a lot of options. In the end, it ...

I just got an email from another trader who told me that CoesFX has a .NET API. They're client platform is Java based, so, I wouldn't be surprised if they also had a Java API. I believe it is free.

You know what would be really cool. Get about 5-6 traders together and everyone pitch in for a bloomberg subscription. Set it up on a hosted VPS server somewhere and everyone can remote desktop in to it. That would shave the price. I doubt the RDC ...

Yes, I think it's a bit of "buyer's remorse" on the part of Coes. They structured that deal with SBFX before they decided to puchase MT4 and do the integration in-house. I'm sure this was probably a purposeful move on the part of Coes since SBFX was ...
