i think basic algorithm is the same, fractals and 2 smas, so the reason could be if M15 fractal formed too early, before 22GMT or if M5 fractal considered locked on 2nd but not 3rd bar

another idea would be use MACD instead of stochastic - it's more smooth and does not have so many curves since long trends are here needed as much as possible
