Thanks Kevin- I have another question- By 000 EST, Do you mean Midnight Sunday night or Midnight Monday night? In other words, do Monday's prices help form the box? I also assume that by EST you mean either DST or standard time, whichever is in ...

Repainting is a fuss because looking back on the charts doesn't give you a clue how the system performs. Forward testing is important on any system. There are many systems to choose from for your testing. Would you rather spend your time forward ...

The 16M bars do repaint. I have watched them do it in real time. That does not mean this isn't a good system and that the system won't make money. It means that one cannot look back on historical charts and draw any accurate conclusions about price ...

Hi, I'm trying to make sense out of the Sentinal Index, but I must be missing something. I understood its purpose is to gauge the strength of the US$. Half of the pairs used will go up on Dollar strength and half will go down, yet positive readings ...

I think it has to be happenstance that the GBP/JPY was not observed repainting. The programing allows a bar to change color after close and I don't see how a particular pair could be exempt from that. I've followed a lot of false leads on systems ...

I was looking at 15M bars. I suspect that if the bars repaint on one time frame, they will repaint on any time frame. I may be wrong.

I don't think I've seen a definition of a Pin bar. I've seen parts of the complete definition, but I never have seen all of it. Can anyone direct me to where I can find it? Thanks

I'm sure I do not totally understand the system. Today would have been a winner, but looking back, it looks like the last four or five days would have been losers. As I say, I'm sure I'm missing something.

It opens at 2300 GMT. A new daily candle opens at 2400 GMT- one hour later. I trade on IBFX's platform, but also have an FXDD MT4 that I chart on when the Sunday candle makes a difference.

I just manually tested this system on EUR/USD for the last 27 trading days- excluding NFP days. I left out the NFP days due to the possibility of not getting filled, huge spreads and stops not being honored. I assumed a 2 pip spread, a 5 pip TP and ...

Thanks for the welcome, Alfredo. I trade divergence on 1Hr, 4Hr or Daily charts. I've found that the longer the timeframe, to more valid the divergences. The downside is there is more risk, because the SL must be larger on the longer the time ...

Hi Everyone, The last thing I want to do is mess with a winning system. I've traded divergence a long time and the best entrance I've found is price action. I think the MA cross gets you in a little late. On a short, I would enter on the first bar ...
