OK, missed the GBP move south but am in the E/J and in good positive territory. Going to protect the entry and go for a long run, and will see where this trade is when I get back. Good trading to you all. PS: Nice job, ukmanthailan on the GBP, 5% is ...

Happy trading day everyone. Very congested market on most pairs today, but have managed one trade on the $/CAD with some OK pips. Hope you are all trading well. I suppose good range trading today but have not been able to get my mind around that ...

My friend, I am not suggesting that non-believers should not post here. In fact, I think it was a non-believer, in an earlier post, who stated that God should not be part of this discussion. If you are not up to further discussions, then I ...

I am sorry, but your question is foolish. You need to study the bible before asking such a question. I do not mean to be rude, but come on.

LOL - I see Prof. Levitt several time a year, so the next time I see him I will let him know that his contribution to mankind in the form of his book has been compared to the Bible. I know he will get a laugh out of that. God bless you all and have ...

The Ethics of Trading - Is Trading Parasitic?

The question presented here was about morality and trading. Seems the thread has evolved into a general discussion about morality. People, when left to their own devises, are basically immoral. If it were not for God's influence on us, then the ...

The Ethics of Trading - Is Trading Parasitic?
- GEfx replied Aug 22, 2009
Parasitic? Absolutely! Moral? Maybe. If you are a retail trader, your trades are matched with another trader going the opposite direction as you. No harm to anyone there. If you are George Soros and you tried to take down the GBP for profit, you ...

Happy trading day to everyone. Difficulty in doing chart work today, things look messy or choppy to me. Managed to get a long position on the GBP/$ that is still moving, so no complaints. Watching the E/J for a possible long position, as well as, ...

Hi j-pax. I think fti should be the one to approve your request about posting charts. MaMood has a good point about charts and trading, but I read your note as a request for input on a trade, not on trading or trade development. However, a posted ...

Hope you do not leave. Not sure why you place much significance on the voucher thing, but really think you should rethink your decision to leave. The goal here is to trade the forex and make some money. Only when you can take a voucher to the bank ...

MaMood's reminder to stay nimble paid off to everyone paying attention. Was able to see the sudden muscle emerge in the E/J and got some nice pips on the move up. Also, am in the $/CHF and protecting 30 pips, waiting to see what it's going to do. ...

Understand what you are saying. I have been getting into trades and not hanging around very long, taking pips when I can and sitting on the side lines to see if things develop. Lets me play it anyway it develops to stay nimble.

Looks like the risk aversion thing is in full force today. MaMood is trading the $/Y and I am in/out of the E/Y. Now waiting to see if the E/$ or G/$ will join in the fun. Edit: MaMood, lets see if it will reload and go again!
