Today did not take Lower Open because the only entrance was at M5 and I trade M15. Took a trade on Higher Open, which was Prev Day Higher Open.

Have you considered dropping down to a smaller timeframe (M30, M15 or M5)? A possible number of entries increases as well.

Hi TheBLUEbeast, Welcome to the thread. Your idea has some sense. I think watching the candle color would make even more sense on indices (DAX, SP500). For now, I'll stick to the rules, which I recommend to you as well. Regards,

Hi TooSlow, Realizing that the NFP/FOMC indicator comes from another universe, curious does it paint the lines automatically or you have to put the values in manually? Thinking about getting one, as it is one of the best attempts to plot those ...

What is the significance of inside bars? Remember reading something earlier in the thread about inside hourly bars after a momo (momentum, long) bar but could not find an explanation.

I am all ears, especially about "stick a counter". Looking forward to some "charts". Those High and Low are the High and Low of the breakout bars and not of the 00:00 4H bar, correct?

Let's see if I am getting it right. On the chart, the second, upper breakout (#2) should be equal or bigger than the first, lower breakout (#1)? SP500, H4, yellow line - NY open.

Hi Billy, Hope all is well. ADR is probably the best out there. Though, sometimes I am wondering what to do when the price does not reach daily ADR by several pips in one direction and goes in the opposite one? How to protect/hedge against that? One ...

Have seen at least two definitions. Some use an indicator that calculates ADR for them. Others use previous High/Low as their ADR. Which one do you prefer?

Hope you and yours are well. Thanks for the reply. A question. When trading M15, if the next bar (#1) is within the limits of the initial bar (#2, counting backward), is it wise to move entry points to the extremes of the last bar (#1)?
