habeeb replied Aug 9, 2007Hi hany, I've not used this indicator before, but it seems that the red arrow pointing down, is signalling a short trade (sell). You enter with the new candle. Yes, I prefer price to break the trendline and close on the other side. As for the entry ...

habeeb replied Aug 9, 2007Hi Kevin, I usually look for price action when price retraces after the trendline has been broken. Yes, I use DBLHC/HLC and BeOB/BuOB too, for enties.

habeeb replied Aug 8, 2007When the signal bar is a Price Action setup (BuOB, DBLHC, etc.), chances of it going in your direction are much greater. Not necessarily that it'll hit the projected target in one shot, but it'll get you into positive pips sooner. These setups can ...

habeeb replied Aug 8, 2007Well spotted Mike
. Ofcourse I didn't take it
:. Price is just a bit too high for me to buy, considering the daily pin. Will be waiting for an entry on the lower timeframes. 243.25 does look like a nice target to aim for.Mouteki Trading

habeeb replied Aug 8, 2007Hi kuroro001, You don't have to wait for a close above the signal bar. We just want the last to go further than the signal bar (5-10 pips).

habeeb replied Aug 7, 2007Hi asen, sorry for the late reply ... just got in. I would've skipped this one, as the "signal bar" openned on the other side of the trendline. I know it's in accordance with the way Mouteki presented it, but I prefer the signal bar to "open inside" ...

habeeb replied Aug 7, 2007It's the bar that closes on the other side of the trendline. In the chart above, the signal bar indicated a trade to go long. So, in this case, we want the next bar to break the high of the signal bar (price has to go higher than the signal bar).

habeeb replied Aug 7, 2007Thank you Hi SEB, According to Mouteki technique, you should've joined points 1 and 2 that's in red. Your entry was perfect, but keep in mind that the signal bar has not been broken yet. I've inserted the new trendline on your chart, as 2 new points ...
