Scrat replied Aug 23, 2007i guess that's from h4 chart. i would have said that it looks like a bullish harami, but since we're already on top of an uptrend i don't think that's the case. now, if we look at the actual candles, i see a possible dark cloud pattern: 1. it's on ...

Scrat replied Aug 23, 2007no. on h4 chart, that is a reverse divergence. it should go down in this situation. on h1 chart, it is a classical bearish divergence: higher highs - price, lower highs - indicator. this means down, not up. these divergences are very important when ...

Scrat replied Aug 23, 2007here is what i see on this h4 chart: 1. still downtrend 2. 0.618 fibo reached from last drop 3. a reverse divergence on macd histogram (i use macd because i'm used to it, but the same divergence is visible on rsi/stochastic as well) i'd be extremely ...

Scrat replied Aug 22, 2007here's a very simple way is to do it: after you plot fibo levels on your weekly, daily and 4h charts, carefully watch when price hits one of them. the rest is price action (i use candlesticks... ).

Scrat replied Aug 22, 2007in other words, technical analysis is just a bunch of BS. so we all should pack our things and go home, because there is no way either of us can make money just by analyzing some indicators. and if you're making consistent money, this means you're a ...
Cable Update (GBPUSD)

Scrat replied Aug 22, 2007if this is not the beginning of a retracement, then we'll probably see a fibo extension at 1.272: 2.0924. IF 1.9621 is not broken.

Scrat replied Aug 22, 2007i will repost the chart, looks like you guys didn't get it. i'm LONG from 1.9829 (5sma) because... (look for my previous post in this thread)... this may be only a retracement, but it's LONG to one of the following fibos: - TP1: 2.0034 - TP2: 2.0152 ...

Scrat replied Aug 21, 2007alright, since nobody cares for some tech... i'll post a chart. 0.786 still holding somehow. reverse divergence on macd histogram, stochastic, rsi. previous minimum (1.9621) not broken. 5sma (that's the yellow dot line) ready to be crossed upwards. ...

Scrat replied Aug 21, 2007here it is (you need to allow dll imports). i don't pay attention to the blue patterns (you'll see them from time to time) unless they have fibo ratios (i'm talking about gartley, butterfly, crab etc - google should guide you to these if you're ...
