ADR isn't far off being reached and R2 pivot level tends to be strong resistance. I admit trading counter to the trend isnt ideal but this is a fairly high probability setup.

Price is approaching daily R2, will consider a short trade if we see confirmation. This is the only time my system allows for a counter trend trade.

Thank you, I may have to start experimenting with trailing stops. I did it somewhat today but the confluence of a lot of pivot resistances convinced me to exit. Trailing stops and walking away from trades will be trialled in the coming days.

Won't consider shorts until R2 at 12695, would like to see a pullback to take us to 12700 but might go straight there.

Took profit. +36 pips. I wont get greedy for 4 pips. Will look for retrace to re-enter long. As stated before, could be R1 (12650) to pivot (12580) for rest of the day but won't take the risk.

But if you are not trading on a high timeframe you are not trading with the trend in the long run, you are simply trading counter trend. On the monthly we are in a downtrend, but if you are trading intraday, why would you care?
