Hi Robert, Your english is very good, don't worry. Your method is a bit different than mine but I see what you are looking for. I look more at horizontal levels and usually ignore diagonal ones for the most part. Also adding an oscillator helps get ...

Well, if compared to drug dealing, robbery and illegal arms smuggling, then yes, it's more noble than those career paths. It is essentially seen as a form of gambling though, by many outsiders. Having said that it's no different to investing in ...
Is Trading FX A Noble Profession?
- Roofx replied Jan 30, 2012
Many would say no, it is not, because it really doesn't provide a service or product that helps the community or our fellow citizens. A doctor saves lives. A mechanic repairs cars. A baker provides fresh bread and eggs. A trader taking profit from ...

I'll second that. I pick tops and bottoms every day and make it work. I wouldn't call it easy but it can be done.
Why do most traders lose money in the market?

Sometimes I wonder if the good traders are flooding the internet and bookshelves with ideas that don't work in order to keep most people losing and keep liquidity high so the winners can keep winning. Take my broker for example. They put a ...

The entries are marked on my chart with dashed lines. Exits are simply 10 pips profit or 9 pip stop. I used these fixed numbers unless I get a sign price isn't going to hit my target and I will exit with around 5 pips if possible. I would love to ...

This is a common newbie mistake, to work the maths so that 1 pip per day can make you a living and then to look for a way to make "just one pip" each and every day with a 100% win rate strategy. Price fluctuates all over the place every day, so of ...

I love ranging markets. As someone has already said, you can always find a trend on one of the time frames. The same can be said for ranging periods. To keep afloat in ranging markets try not to think of them as a market condition you need to just ...

What about this for an idea of 'edge': You have a simple coin flip betting experiment. In theory there is a 50% chance of getting heads and a 50% chance of getting tails. If you guess correctly you win $10. If you guess wrong you lose $11 (consider ...

Here's the alert version of the BBStop. It's useful if you trade it on the M5 or higher as it will make a sound when it flips. Of course it sounds on any time frame but if you trade the 1M you should be sitting at your charts most of the time anyway ...
