It's not going far in either direction just yet. Sorry to hear about the trade

I agree. It's just the wrong time of day to look for a move.

The first H1 bar closes in the middle 1/3 so it's not a good SO. It is still a good sign of possible strength tho. If we get a NS next, we can take a careful long. But, care should be taken.

Therein lies the problem, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. You need to see a setup of sorts. Something you're confident in. It doesn't have to be a 5 or 6 bar setup, just as long as you can see a repeatable pattern to trade.

There is a big difference between knowing the VSA bars and knowing VSA. There is no reliable entry there. If you enter on NSs per se, you'll go broke very quickly.

As an aide to VSA the right indicators are a welcome addition. Afterall, Mal, HG, Doc, Sono, you, Gavin and many others can't all be wrong. The way I see it, if it helps you to be more profitable, then it's a good thing.

It's looking that way to me. Like I said, shaping up for a down day tomorrow. Mind you, you know what my forecasting skills are like, it'll surely rocket upwards now

If you check my charts you'll see it's also a S/R area for me.

We will close as an up day(just) to give us a ND day, ready for a down day tomorrow.

Thanks. I also cannot play much golf now either so FF and the markets provide me with a welcome break every now and then.

Not really. I suppose I could make some trades here and there but I don't really have the time to dedicate to trading right now. It's a little difficult at the moment and my attentions are elsewhere.

A question I just had via PM 'Just a question. If next bar breaks the lows of a ns the setup is still valid ? Same for a (next) bar breaking the highs of a ND?' If you're talking about the setups I have shown today, yes they would still be valid ...

Mind you, it was easy enough today. There were fantastic trades a plenty today. Would have been a 20% day for me had I been trading

Well done. The 2nd setup is a classic 2 bar reversal, almost perfect. It would have been nice to see a wide spread down bar closing in the middle on high volume, between setup 1 and 2. But then it would be the stuff text books are made of

Thanks for having a go guys. Mostly correct answers but some incorrect also. I have labelled another chart below with a handy setup very similar to the one I posted the question about. 1 is the question setup and 2 is the better setup. The correct ...
