It's a manually drawn trendline (TL for further reference). I try to find as many touches to my TL as I can. It's quite a discretionary thing as I, in some cases, allow one or more spikes to poke trough the TL and in other cases I draw it on the ...

As you may or may not have seen; I bought AUD/CAD for the most expensive pip in yesterdays market (1.0017). I've been holding since, with my SL unchanged at 0.9950. Throughout the whole position I've been looking at a way to cut this loss, but ...

USD/CAD surged higher overnight and has reached the trouble area I had marked for it. Since, it has been poking into 1.1160-75 and is continually being pushed lower, but not much. I've moved the SL to 1.1092, which is still below my entry, but risk ...

Price broke out of its hourly consolidation and should be continuing it move higher. The SL is now at 1.1059 (formerly 1.0935), which effectively reduces risk by approximately 70%. Further bullish momentum will see me reduce even more. Charts:

I've moved the Stop Loss for AUD/NZD to slightly better than break even. (see charts) GBP/USD has been Bullish all week and found support at the 'Highest Close of Resistance' at 1.6635. I see a bullish continuation as very likely. Strong resistance ...

The broker I use now is Oanda demo for trading, and I use the MT4 from an FxPro demo-account. Ever since I found out about the PIP/Profit-calculator and 1 unit order sizes, I could hardly think of how one should scale risk on MT4 (i.e. std. lots). I ...

Have you considered taking your trading out of MT4? Most brokers offer quite sophisticated trading tools, order-types and additional info. Made this transition myself some 5 months ago and I'm very pleased with it so far.

Anyone else noticed the spread-spikes with oanda? My NZD/USD (sell stop) was processed with a huge spreadhike (+6 slippage), and the stop loss was taken out with a similar spike (another +5 slippage). image
