I think this formation was named by Phillip, see post url How I understand it: the formation of 3 consecutive lower highs and lower lows (in a downtrend), forming round tops, preferably occuring close to S/R areas. The previous post by Phillip was ...

I don't feel confident with this one... MACD didn't retrace towards zero, price didn't retrace to the 21 in a pronounced way, and we have resistance ahead, it might be a strong breakout after all this consolidation, but can also retrace easily in ...

Yes, same happened to me. I think it's due to buy orders triggered exactly at the red bat line. The MT4 bars show the bid price, therefore the long orders should be triggered when the bid reaches the red bat line: bid + spread. This at least should ...

Hi Team Aphid, would you mind to post all the pairs you trade the bat with? I tried to keep track of it during the course of this thread, but I think it got a bit confusing. Here are the pairs I'm forward testing: GBP/USD, USD/JPY, USD/CAD, USD/CHF, ...

In my short experience it doesn't matter, but I like it when the open and close of the PIN are close together and in the upper/lower third of the bar. Both PINs on this chart have a lower close, and worked well.

Billser, I think the red line is a good spot to enter, how much the nose should protrude compared to the previous bar depends on personal taste and the location of the PIN. However in this case the PIN looks more like a neutral bar to me, I like it ...
