Could you explain that one a bit better? Sounds possible, but I can't quite figure out what you want? RickSupernova GBP/JPY Mini Trend Catcher

Hi TC, Yes, I knew immediarely what the problem was. I am still trying to figure out Skylines entry logic. The comments are in Italian, though
I am going to simplify this logic to make the entries better. In addition, he is allowing entries ...Supernova GBP/JPY Mini Trend Catcher

New Version — Hi All, Matt, I think I solved the Magic Number issue, but I couldn't really test with so little volatility at night. I think we need to focus on accurate entries and exits, then add the money management in. I have found a few ...

Hmmm. I will check the magic numbers. The code has some really strange handling of magic number tests. Now that the OrderTotals routine is fixed, I suspect it is showing other bugs. I will look at this immediately. Rick

Wow, Orion! I can't imagine how it could make that mistake. Could you please check to make sure the QQE settings for the EA match your template? Rick

Hi Matt, yes, I left an alert I was using for debugging by mistake. I will remove it next version. I think I have also found a bug in the entries with regard to re-entering right after a trade. It looks like it accepts crosses that are too far back ...

Thanks for the kind words. Lots of work to do before then, I'm afraid
I have just found a bug in the entries. After an exit, the next entry is always delayed by 1 full bar from the QQE cross. This means that the cross bar is not ever considered ...Supernova GBP/JPY Mini Trend Catcher

Hi Matt, Let's hold off on the TS until we get some time in with the other changes. If there are too many variables it may be hard to figure out what needs fixed. That was a nice entry. From looking at the code, I will be interested to see how ...

Hi Matt, You don't need Laguerre. I am really interested in these next few tests and betas. The bug I found would have affected exits and trailing stops. The EA will behave very differently (hopefully more profitably) now. We may have to tweak a bit ...

Hi Matt, Parallel would be best, but this EA calculates the MagicNumber internally. You would need to run them in parallel on different accounts, which would mean 2 instances of MT. Rick

Hi Matt, Found a HUGE error in the exit logic. This should make an enormous difference. Most of the routines that relied on calculating the total number of orders were using a custom call that was returning the wrong value. It was sheer luck if you ...

OK, well things seem to be looking up a bit. I am going to proceed cautiously at this point so that we don't change too much at once. Today, I will release the second QQEA which should also allow for a non-chart TF on exit. In addition, I will ...

Hi Matt, Looking at the code now. The exits are mutually exclusive, so any condition should trigger the exit. The entries are not mutually exclusive. All conditions must be met. Those entries and exits are definitely sub-optimal. Do most of the ...

Hi Matt, Really great testing! This helps a lot. I am going to dive in with your suggested enhancements and possible bug scenarios. I am still hopeful 1.7 will be released tomorrow. As much feedback as you can give me until then will be enormously ...

Hi Wolfe, Orion did get some trades, but it took a while. Look in the Experts and Journal tabs to see if anything obvious is failing. Rick
