You are right..... I was wrong about the pair holding its rise. But it's a time to buy again. Just got in again at 1.2012

I think this week is not the time for scalping. The small rise today will probably not drop any more until post-SNB Thu. The same for tomorrow & Wed. If it goes up to 1.2050 on Wed, I will not unload until Thu SNB. I will put trailing stop then. ...

what uptrend figures are we looking at Thu? — We all expect an uptrend or spike coming Thu pre-SNB. What figures are you guys expecting? (pre-SNB decision) I'm expecting 1.2100 max.

I also think there will be a gap on Mon. But not that big for EURCHF - Spain's €100 bailout by EU is not really good news for EUR. At least it will slow down Spanish cash flow into Swiss. And I think this gap will not fall back to 1.2010 levels, but ...

I assume if we make it big & get rich overnight due to excess leverage, most brokers have no problem withdrawing, right? Any potential possible problems with any brokers? Because I can't wait for Thu pre-SNB or possibly an unexpected lift of peg.

SNB can copy China - fix a peg with an allowed small trading band of a few pips only. No ups & no downs. Use laws & legislations to fix it. They can truly control the franc this way. They can adjust as & when they like to whatever level they choose. ...

Just a question - how much did SNB spent in Sep 2011 when they peg CHF to 1.20? I guess not much. They just mentioned they "cannot tolerate anything below 1.20" & the pair jumped in <1 hr to 1.20. But they did spend a lot defending the peg. Unlike ...

The last time Switzerland imposed negative interest rates which failed was in the late 1970s. After more than 30yrs, why not try it out again? There is no harm in trying, but only a small -ve rate such as -0.25% to -0.5% to try out. Sweden did that ...

Yes, you are right.... SNB is different & it is going to be difficult to get rid of all the € it has amassed recently.

Very little chance I think. Only way to reach there this year is thru intervention. Wait till Sept 14th SNB. I think at least 1year is needed for a 'review' of the peg. We need pressure from the Swiss industry & exporters to raise the peg to ...

I don't see why SNB should be so 'unkind' to pop a surprise when our longs are reduced the week after. By not letting us speculators make our profits will not benefit SNB in any way. But when we are long eurchf it does help weaken the chf also right? ...

Place your long bets by tonight. I bet the Monday opening will already see a small jump upwards that may not drop down to the levels now until after Thursday SNB.

economic figures — I'm not an economist, but I think KOF, PMI and GDP are somewhat related. But CPI is a measure of inflation/deflation. It takes the prices of essential items & comes up with an index. So CPI cannot relate to KOF, PMI, GDP. ...

It's a good idea to get a swap-free broker. Some say it's only for the Muslim faith, but there are many swap-free brokers around who will just give you swap free accounts regardless of your belief.....

I don't know about these rumors but traders are a nervous lot about rumors no matter how impossible they are. I believe SNB has it's own creditability & image to be taken care of. They keep uttering "utmost determination" & what do you think of SNB ...

Big Dip & Spike — Yes, I got the same at Finexo. Went down to 1.19882, then spiked to 1.20252 in just 1 minute (see candlestick). Problem was it triggered my Sell Stop @ 1.1995, then into my SL @ 1.2020.! But Finexo emailled me ...
