OK, Edge. Heres two of them. Both trades non conforming as there was no arrow signal. On one of them, saw the traiangle and it go past the line. Almost soon as I entered, it went the other way. I guess the second chart shows how just doing a visual ...

After several losing trades, the last three were winners. Finally getting the hang of it. On two of the trades, was stopped to the pip even at a 25 SL, and one trade on the AUD/USD this morning, IBFX had a 13 PIP spike in bid and ask due to "news", ...

DET, I made that same comparison on my charts, and have switched over to the hull MA. I've been entering some trades early with the same issues some others have mentioned, where the LWA would start out blue, and then change to white or even red. I ...

Please look at the chart I posted which gives little notes explaining what the "histogram' means.

Irathi, the attached is my understanding of what Swingman was saying. Whenever the triangle appears, and there at least two TRIX histograms before the triangle in the same direction, it's a near certain 10 pip winner. This applies of course to long ...

I believe swingman was refrring to the TRIX histogram. Load a TRIX with a setting of 3,1,1,1 as he said. When that triangle appears, check the TRIX below, and if there are at least TWO before that are up/down in the same direction, that trade has ...

Edge, thanks for all the time and effort you put forth on this thread. I hope that you will drop in regularly to set the wayward (including me) straight. I feel like my "blankey" has been taken away!

Swingman, does that mean you're going to start live trading now!??!
If I am able to duplicate those results, I'll join you and buy your ticket.C4 Scalping

In checking the GBP only, I get all winners. Less trades. But ALL winners. Have to go now for sure, but will definitely check this out further.

I just thought of a catchy slogan for this Trix & Bricks
Gotta go. I have a regular job to do

I'm using 10. Five is just a tad too fast paced for me. Remember, the more bricks you use, the higher time frame you're using and vice versa.

From my experience over the past month trading this live for small amounts, this is a bad time to trade. People are at lunch, etc. I also have found trading from about 6:00 or 7:00 Eastern time onward for a few hours to be even worse.

What you're doing is probably the better way. 10 of those (net) a day is all you'd need. I'll be experimenting with +5 and + 10 on a small pnny type live account to see which is better.

Why so many trades? looks like you make them within a minute to 5 minutes apart on the same pair in some cases.

OK. Here it is. You need to put both in your indicator folder. When it's attached, you can go into settings and activate the sound alert, and also text labels in the input section, and you'll get a nice little text entry of exactly where the candle ...

For anyone wanting an indicator that will give you a signal as to when the bricks reverse, there's an indicator on another thread called TK8Power, and it's called ATM_Pure_CEC. It was developed for that thread, and I'm not sure if I would be allowed ...

Yes. Definitely a setting of 2,1,1,1 is better if you're using a 10 brick Renko and an 8,3,6 LWA. Had a setting of 6,1,1,1 and 2,1,1,1 side by side on 4 pairs, and the 2,1,1,1 is more accurate. When the new renko brick is just above the LWA, it's ...

Here's an odd thing. On GBP/USD, my renko chart is haywire. I set the blocks at 14 & you can see the first half are all even. After that, they are various sizes. Only happening on GBP/USD. The other pairs I have it on work fine. Also doesn't matter ...

Swingman, I venture to say that most all here agree that you are the master of indicators, in addition to being one of the nicest guys around. Working till 5:00 AM on an indicator just to help others is amazing, considering the fact that you don't ...
