techno79 replied Jan 4, 2007I'm an airhead. I didn't realize whose post I've been reading. I read the ebook. Just using a laymens commonsense approach, I would think this, and the next NFP report would be good. Why? Christmas and the lower paid service/retail economy. Do they ...

techno79 replied Jan 4, 2007I completely get what you are saying. I have this very fear. Especially equalties. I have learned way too much to waste it in not playing the game at any point. I may have to modify how often I participate, but I believe it's a waste to let that ...

techno79 replied Jan 4, 2007I guess you can if call centers, engineers, programmers and accountants are in that groupings. Unless you're doing something physical like a haircut or mopping the floors, don't think there's anything that you do that someone else can't.

techno79 replied Jan 4, 2007I was hoping to see someone talk about and give an answer to this, but surprised I haven't seen it yet. I really want to know too. I would think that if it's not a big release yet, it will be as America becomes a Service(non-manufactoring) economy.

techno79 replied Jan 4, 2007Are your futures brokers open for 8:30 news releases? I've been using binaries contracts, I think also called Spread Betting maybe, but who I'm using doesn't open until 9am. So for the news trades, I may miss some big ones, and I'm trying to figure ...

techno79 replied Jan 2, 2007I see what you're doing now. Similiar to a break-out strategy by waiting to bust through the lines. Very simple. Now I wish I had been logging news events for longer than 4 15minute candles. At least I only started keeping a book since the 20th! ...

techno79 replied Jan 2, 2007Hi. I've been thinking about what you said about a 150pip movement in 48 hours. I've been thinking of these plays a little short term lately, first few candles, fibo's, etc. But I hadn't thought of playing these releases in a larger trend. If we get ...

techno79 replied Dec 31, 2006I went through most of the first thread "I", and a few pages out of 110 on the "II" thread. And I think I need a book. It's not easy to sift through for information on an already bloated thread after everyones already followed along. Easier to read ...

techno79 replied Dec 30, 2006Very good explaination, well said. But I can't stand the rules and kangaroo courts that those subdivisons set. Stalins housing had less rules. There are a few ritzy area's where they tear down a modest house on a plot of land and build a ...

techno79 replied Dec 30, 2006You have to live in a high growth state. That way such a question never crosses your mind. Where the developers run the gov't and do what they want, including circumventing and writing their own laws and codes. And build hundreds of bland cookie ...

techno79 replied Dec 30, 2006I hear in many villages it takes a weeks pay to buy enough water for yourself with wells going dry. I don't think it's as straight forward as was put. Only in forex could I still feel like a newbie after months of observation. I admire that you've ...

techno79 replied Dec 29, 2006I blame myself. I played along with the last two trades on a demo just to see how they go if I followed along since I want to put some longer term trades(and bigger pips) in there. I brought bad luck.
Of course also I hear the last two ...WaveTrade

techno79 replied Dec 21, 2006exactly. Some of the numbers I seen thrown out there are rediculously high in my opinion. I would say just have a decent cushion. You never know what comes up sometimes. I personally wouldn't mind if I didn't make enough and have to work temp for a ...

techno79 replied Dec 19, 2006Here's one I don't understand. The figure was negative and a higher number(should say lower number since it's negative) than previous, yet lower(vice versa to add confusion) than forecast. And this was NZD positive? I'm not sure if I've seen such a ...
