"Well small firms that cannot meet a basic $5 million in excess shouldn't be allowed to be either." At what point are you going to be saying "small firms that cannot meet a 10 million, 50 million, 250 million in excess..." When does a firm Suddenly ...

Yes, another firm forced to close it's doors by the government lapdog of the large brokerages the NFA. 1 less competitor in the world for FXCM and the other large brokerages to worry about. They are being forced to close their doors not because they ...

I agree. Although hedging can seem like a miracle the first time you use it, over the years I have seen it literally destroy large accounts and the psychology of the traders behind them. I know of one trader in particular with a 60k account that ...

It will happen when FXCM and the other huge firms finish digesting this group of its competition. The NFA is the watchdog of these larger firms. It must be nice from a business standpoint to have a government agency backing you in shutting down your ...

I would agree with BurgerKing, though I disagree that it is useless for the true beginner. Usually I tell students to demo trade for their first 3-4 months. You need to understand the basics of your system, the charts, and how/what affects the ...

I can confirm this. I use a small micro account set up at FXDD to test EA's. Simply let them all trade at 10cents/pip. Testing EA's on a non-live feed is never accurate, who ever slips their demo feed? As far as the NFA goes, well thats a different ...

Though I welcome additional strategy thinking. One of the more exciting features of this system is the greater than 1:1 Risk/Reward ratio each day on a set and forget methodology. Total pips risked 90 best total gain 95. The strategy you have posted ...

40 losses in a row would be as improbable as 40 wins in a row. However with a scaling MM strategy you should survive. If you are trading 2% of the balance when you enter, the lot sizes should get progressively smaller. However at the 40th loss I'd ...

I'm an IB for them. They promised MT4 within "90 days" back in January of this year. Talking to them last week, I've heard we should hear something new this week. If past performance is any clue, however, don't hold your breath. If it happens it ...

No matter your time frame, your scalping compared to someone else out there. I personally trade off the 4hr and day charts. I can be in my trades from an hour or two, to 1.5 months like this last GBP trade (775 pips was worth the wait). I'm a ...

I'm trying to figure out what your asking here. If you are trying to follow a system and it indicates closing 1/3 of positions, you should be trading with multiple lots and close 1/3 of them.
What happens when a position's size is Lots = 1/3?
