I belive you confused Euro Zone with EuroUnion. And your Central Bank can print euros and dollars if you believe in them? I doubt that. This is why North Korea is not printing dollars yet...

4H looks even even better to me. Market overall situation makes short on gold risky. Personally I am bearish on gold, but I wouldn't dare to get in it right now. For me it is highly unpredictable what its price will do and where it stop.

It is another strange thing in this whole matter. EuroZone's GDP in 2010 was 9'207'949 millions of Euro. At the same time Greek GDP was 230'173 millions of Euro, nearly 2,5% of EZ's. So I'm asking - How is it possible that Greek default would ...

Yes Sir, Greece itself is not a problem. That is why the next step should be to throw the Brussels out of EU ;-). I think Brussels could make its own union with Greece ;-).

Greece should have been thrown out of Eurozone for financial abuse. But instead those "smartasses" are pumping more money into this Greek blackhole... oh! Did I mentioned that this money is OUR - the taxpayers - money? An important lesson comes out ...

Yep, everybody wants to be a millionaire... Competition is a good thing - this regards workforce too. You want to earn more? OK, but there is a line above which machines will make it cheaper.

I must say that I agree with that. But still GDP per capita is much higher. Mass production is cheaper (costs less time). Thanks to it you can produce more and you can own more in the same time.

In my opinion mechanization and growing productivity force employees transfer from production to services. In 1600 AD there were maybe 1% of possible jobs nowadays. Also, the more machines in production, the more mechanics in maintenance.

Thank you bobn. I actually see one way out of such situation - export. Country with its market overfilled with goods, high debt and declining consumption must export surpluses. It has to swap internal demand to external demand and then it could ...

PSS. I know I wrote it in "neo-Greek-style" but we got such sentence in Poland - "The less government fixes economy, the better for economy" ;-)

I wouldn't want to argue in "sandbox" style. What I know is that most people are aware of their home budgets and borrowing issues. Most people are able to control their ballance and pay their debts. As long as those "most people" are in majority, it ...

What occurs to me is that politicians and heads of central banks were on the top all the time during this whole "debt crisis" and it was getting worse. Few days of silence and suddenly market is recovering. I think that our political class is making ...

This particular matter was recently under discussion. Short selling does not mean ALL selling. Either way it is quite bizarre... in my humble opinion. Regards.
