I don't know what video you are talking about but all they have told you about metatrader is wrong. It is one of the best and most popular platform used by retail traders. When I look for a new broker I always go for the one offering metatrader. In ...

This is good news I think. Looks like almost every broker will now be offering Metatrader. To be honest I have accounts with a lot of brokers and I only open an account if they have Metatrader.

Are you sure this is right? Don't forget that Go Markets has moved to 5 digit pricing since last week. I haven't personally seen what you claim above.

The spreads you quote above are definitely a concern. At the week end they changed to market execution. This means that you can no longer set the slippage control before you click to place a trade. Market execution means you will get filled no ...

If that was my trade, I would ask for proof from FXCM that my stop loss was executed at the next best available price. Not a 5 minute chart. Hopefully I got this timeframe right this time as I know you are quite sensitive to this. A log of available ...

Really, you think that I spent much time studying that chart. My mistake on the timeframe was posted once but stated twice on the same line. Does it really matter? I maintain that this chart is no proof that a 135 pips slippage should have occured. ...

No matter what everyone else says on this thread I think that you have been hardly done by. You did the right thing and you had a stop loss in place, you could not have done any more to protect your trade. The market didn't gap 135 pips in a second ...

I closed my account with FXCM some time ago due to slippage problem. Slippage on entry, slippage on exit, slippage on stop loss. They blame the banks but it's their own fault. It's just too tempting for them to collect these extra pips. Their NDD or ...

There is no difference as far as risk is concerned. You are trading the same forex pairs with more or less the same spreads and the same leverage. By the way, more margin doesnt it up your balance, it may even preserve it when you use low leverage. ...

I think that you are right. Every system has its drawdowns since there is no perfect trading system. Speiler is not forcing anybody to follow his method so if someone thinks its not for them, they should just move on. The argument about whether it ...
