It hasn't retested the 7EMA yet. Are you saying to enter anyway?

How far must it be before you consider it a level? Thanks

It looks interesting. By "retest", do you mean price must touch the 7EMA after the MA cross? On exit, do you consider the pivot itself as a level? Do you trade during any particular time? Thank for sharing.

Here is a chart that shows the time window used for the GBP/JPY system. The chart shown is in GMT. You must find the time used on your chart and use the bars which equate to 1800 GMT 1900 GMT 2000 GMT 2100 GMT 2200 GMT 2300 GMT 0000 GMT 0100 GMT ...

The bar in your screenshot, happened at 1705 not 1805. Your chart time is GMT+1. I show the high of 230.00 on the 1915 bar.

You can get a Monte Carlo simulator for Excel that will take any bet sizing method you can imagine and make test runs on it. It will run as many 1000 run sets as you want to wait for. It'll report to you the worst run, best run and the most likely ...

The practical reason that martingale isn't any good, is in the implementation. The size of your initial bet has to be too small because you must allow for the possible parlay after a series of losses. Even if you don't hit a streak that will tap you ...

The odds of losing x number in a row depend on the win rate. At a 50% win rate (which this system does not have) you will lose 10 in a row 1 time in 1000 trials. That doesn't mean you have to make 1000 trades to hit a 10 loss streak. The streak ...

Nope, I haven't, but that has nothing to do with what I'm saying. If the coin is not rigged and the toss is not rigged, and I toss 10 straight heads, what is the probability that the next toss will be tails?

No. The math doesn't work. You WILL lose 6 in a row if you trade any length of time at all. You WILL lose 10 in a row, at some point. Pure martingale as well as the one you put up violate the essential rules of risk management. Never increase your ...

It's not at all unlikely you will lose 6 in a row with this system. I don't know the hit rate, but I know it's less than 50%. It can afford to be with a 2:1 R/R. Let's be generous and say it's 45% although I think it's less than that. On average you ...

I think you need to make another clarification. This is what you wrote in post #1 The London session begins at 0800 GMT. One hour before this is 0700 GMT. Should we begin at 0600 (per post#1) or 0700 (per your last post)?

I don't think the bandwidth indicator lends itself to optimization. The way it's calculated, it is relative to price. Right now the .0056 works pretty well, but I think that is coincidental. If you look back on a chart, bandwidth stayed below .0056 ...

I trade it sporadically and have not really tracked my results except that I have won more than I have lost. I traded it every night when the thread first came out, but I found I usually had to stay up all night doing it. I don't use an EA. If I ...

azam, I wish you much success. I would like to add that when you use a martingale, there is no proper MM. Martingale will ruin you, either now or later.
