mike w replied Dec 17, 2007I'd be looking for 231-232, before looking for a reversal and then shorting from there. This daily close is incredibly important for my justification of this trade and if it closes below the support- which would turn resistance- I would reevaluate ...

mike w replied Dec 17, 2007Just as we had a conversation the other day, The Gbp/Jpy hasn't really been coinciding with the Dow that much as of late. It can drop while G/J stays put at times. I'm only trading by technical analysis of this and other currency pairs for now.

mike w replied Dec 17, 2007Looking at my charts, the pound is facing resistance right now. The next few hourly closes will show if it breaks above or not.

mike w replied Dec 17, 2007Yeah I guess your right on that. I don't really count my scalping trades as they are all jsut for quick profit so they don't go in the books. With those added in, I make a good deal more than I thought I did. lol On another note, we still need to ...

mike w replied Dec 17, 2007I've been buying. 50 pips ago was where I stacked my positions for the ride up. I plan to buy all the way up too. This is a great opportunity.

mike w replied Dec 17, 2007I've added another long to my Gbp/Jpy positions at 228.49. Today's close will be a huge factor in my thought for this pair. Overall, nothing has changed in terms of my thoughts regarding this pair. I think we will move upwards to that 220-232 area. ...

mike w replied Dec 17, 2007I think tomorrow will be the day if we get a daily close at or around this area. Price is already, slowly but surely, moving upwards.

mike w replied Dec 17, 2007I agree. The only thing to make money on today seemed to be the Usd/Cad, which went great. I'm posting little scalps, but that's not where I put my money at. Too much risk for too little reward, especially with the wild oscillations of this pair on ...

mike w replied Dec 17, 2007Wow, not much movement today at all. We're stuck in a little mess of support and resistance, which can only mean one thing! Le range. (french accent for those of you that didn't understand.) Keep an eye out on the daily bar, ladies and gents, ...

mike w replied Dec 17, 2007I closed out my Usd/Cad trades for a profit of 100, 125, 83, and 63 pips. Overall pips, I am being too lazy at the moment to add together. I'm going to post some charts of what I think will happen over the next few days on each currency pair that I ...

mike w replied Dec 16, 2007I'd agree. I'm thinking more conservative on this though, because this was such a large trend. I am going to wait until this week's close to see what happens. If it turns out to be a bullish engulfing, then I would consider the trend to still be ...

mike w replied Dec 14, 2007lol, I hate to agree with any type of argument, but cgld is right. There is no need to boast when your in this business. When you start to do that, that's when it all falls down- believe me, I've been there and done that.
