According to your rule above, in the possible trade we're looking at now, when a bar goes 5 pips lower than the confirmation bar the ADX MUST be above 40. The second criteria won't apply because the + and - D crossed several hours ago. Is this ...

In the above: 5 pips lower than the OB or 5 pips lower than the confirmation candle?

Here's an example. Would this be a no trade? This kind of thing happens a lot.

What if the cross happened above the 90. Price falls below the 90 and retests the 7EMA while price is below the 90? I've seen that happen several times looking back on charts.

It didn't on my chart. It looks like it did, but the 7EMA was pulled down to touch the high of the bar. Current price never touched the 7EMA.

It's going to be difficult to trade this system, then. There is hardly a day goes by without either Jpy or Gbp news.

The last post I made explains this as well as I am able to. I can't do any better than that. That's why I said it would be the last one trying to explain the time window.

It may be several hours before it moves a lot. This is a quiet time. I haven't looked to see if there is any news due.

Question? Do we exit on a downward cross or wait to hit the SL?
